Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests at our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills and be committed to maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in preventing accidents, responding to emergencies, and providing exceptional guest services.
Duties
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Perform rescues and provide first aid as necessary in emergency situations.
- Conduct regular pool maintenance, including cleaning and chemical testing.
- Assist with guest inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Participate in training sessions to maintain certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguarding.
- Conduct regular safety drills and maintain readiness for emergency situations.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to pool maintenance equipment as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Lifeguard is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to demonstrate various strokes.
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR techniques; certification is provided.
- Experience in guest services is a plus, enhancing the overall experience for patrons.
- Familiarity with pool cleaning practices and equipment maintenance is advantageous.
