We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation aircraft.
This position is onsite in Wichita, Kansas.
Front-Line Leader – Wichita, KS
The Front-Line Leader will be responsible for leading the daily activities for employees to support a production environment for the FLRAA aircraft. Will also be responsible for driving performance, safety, quality of work, managing cost, and managing employee relations.

Front-Line Leader – Wichita, KS
The Front-Line Leader will be responsible for leading the daily activities for employees to support a production environment for the FLRAA aircraft. Will also be responsible for driving performance, safety, quality of work, managing cost, and managing employee relations.
What you’ll be doing as a Front-Line Leader:
- Provide daily assignment and direction to direct reports.
- Ability to create and implement procedures and standard work, process improvements or best practices.
- Ability to achieve objectives in a matrix work environment and work effectively with multiple functions.
- Ensure compliance of existing protocols (tool calibration, tool control, operator training and qualification, etc)
- Coordinate with maintenance and facilities to ensure work orders are submitted and completed
- Conduct disciplines of employees when necessary.
- Utilize metrics driven accountability for performance such as TAKT, earned hours, efficiency, schedule, overhead, and overtime charges.
- Experience directing the daily manufacturing activities of employees within their assigned area to complete required work.
- Excellent communicator with oral and written communications skills, be goal-oriented, data driven, with strong sense of urgency.
- Creative, entrepreneurial, and an empowering leader with strong organizational, human relations and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with employees, internal and external customers, and brief leaders as required.
- We are looking for inquisitive and driven individual with a passion to innovate.
- This candidate must have strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years managing production/manufacturing experience in airframe and structure assembly
- Able to work multiple shifts and overtime as needed.
