Aircraft Styling Team
Bring your experience and ideas and help us develop the best helicopter interiors in the world. You’ll work closely with our commercial programs team and associated engineers to improve and build new interiors and interior kits for our commercial aircraft. You’ll also interact regularly with sales, marketing and business operations to ensure our new products meet the demands of the market and its customers. This role will be an integral part of the team, designing, developing and showcasing Bell’s expertise in aircraft interior design. You’ll be able to leverage your technical and artistic abilities all while gaining experience in leadership and communication.

Aircraft Styling Team

What you’ll be doing as an Interior Engineering Specialist
- Provide conceptual designs that will capture higher market demand in the corporate and VIP classes of commercial aircraft
- Coordinate manufacturing and installation designs with customizing and design engineering
- Ensure kit certifiability and compatibility with Bell kits
- Coordinate and collaborate with suppliers to design, develop and integrate new aircraft interior parts and systems
- Provide “out-of-the-box” solutions that meet customer needs as well as Bell’s requirements for cost, producibility, and certification
- Support the design and build of mockups and rapid prototyping
- 2 years in vehicle/aircraft interior design required
- 2 years of aerospace design engineering experience required
- Experience with CATIA (V6 preferred), ALIAS & SolidWorks
- Must be able to communicate and collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines, Sales, Marketing, Branding, Customization, Pilots, and Customers
- Must be willing to provide interior design support consultation to multiple Commercial and Military Programs simultaneously at Bell Helicopter
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering required
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with multiple Engineering Disciplines, Sales, Marketing, Branding, Customization, Pilots, and Customers
