What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Assistant position at Bell & McCoy Companies?
We are looking to add a person to our accounting team in Houston. Hours would be 8am-5pm Monday-Friday. You would be part of a small team who support our sales teams across multiple states with commission data and sales reports on a monthly basis.
Responsibilities
- Process monthly commission reports
- Apply commission payments
- Enter invoice and order information
- Maintain customer database as needed
- Work with our accounting team to meet monthly closing deadline
Qualifications
- Intermediate Excel
- Microsoft Outlook
- Data entry / 10 key
- Highly detail oriented and able to multi-task
- A self-starter who works well in a quiet environment
- Fast learner
