Responsibilities
- Measuring and mixing ingredients, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines
- Use pharmacy systems to input patient and drug information accurately, fill prescriptions, and verify medications while assisting pharmacists with workflow
- Contribute to pharmacy marketing efforts through networking with healthcare professionals and participating in community events.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state statutes, as well as Florida Board of Pharmacy regulations.
- Handle non-pharmacist telephone calls, including communications with physicians.
- Support inventory management by ordering, unpacking, storing pharmaceuticals, and addressing overages, shortages, and damages.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred, especially in sterile and non-sterile compounding.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and service.
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the field of pharmacy.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
