Housekeeper

Job Summary: This position is responsible for all cleaning and sanitation activities associated with employee and public common areas. This is a day shift position at our Downtown Kalamazoo location.

Essential Duties:

• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Sweeps, vacuums, and mops floors and stairways.
• Gather and empty trashes.
• Dusts such items as blinds, furniture, file cabinets, and windowsills using treated dust mittens, cloths, or hand-cleaning items.
• Observes appearances and conditions of premises and equipment; notify managers concerning needed repairs, safety hazards, or conditions.
• Maintains an inventory of cleaning and toiletry supplies.
• Other duties as assigned

Education/ Experience/Skills:

• Prior housekeeping experience
• Working knowledge of floor finishing processes, cleaning chemicals, and housekeeping best practices in industrial and commercial operations.
• Prior experience in a production environment
• Attention to detail, ability to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards, and confidence to speak up and act when safety and quality are compromised

• An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual with high ethical standards.
• A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.
• A deep awareness of the importance of sanitation in food and beverage processing environments.
• A demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and assess priorities effectively.

Wage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position. The compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, or other position-related reasons.

Starting Salary Range: $21.00/hour
