Summary: The Director, Engineering Services is responsible for overseeing the Engineering Services consulting. Design, project delivery services and managed services for our global customers. This role ensures the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions. The Director will lead a team of IT professionals, manage vendor relationships, and develop strategic plans to meet the evolving technological needs of the organization.

As the practice leader, you will be responsible for reviewing, proposing, designing cloud, network and endpoint solutions to meet existing and prospective client’s technology and business outcomes. As a technical leader in Bell Techlogix, you play a critical role in advancing the overall network strategy, defining architectural standards, best practices, standardize on tools and technologies for cloud, network and endpoint solutions for overall organizational change management and transformation. You’ll continually be learning about new technologies and looking to the future for why, and how our clients or prospects should be adopting them for value realization.

Essential Functions

• Leadership and Management:
• Lead and mentor a team of IT infrastructure professionals.
• Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals.
• Manage the performance and development of the infrastructure team.
• Focus on generating new revenue and improve margins across all accounts.
• Build capabilities for network infrastructure services and promote them to existing and prospective clients.
• Discover, identify, and articulate unrecognized business value opportunities through curiosity and a focus to drive business client value.
• Infrastructure Management:
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of network, server, and storage systems.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems.
• Manage data centers, cloud services, and disaster recovery plans.
• Security and Compliance:
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect company data.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
• Budget and Vendor Management:
• Develop and manage the infrastructure budget.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools.
• P&L Management:
• Manages financial and operational metrics for the service line.
• Work with leadership to ensure that the departmental strategy is consistent with Bell Techlogix strategy.
• Achieves profitable revenue growth through the successful implementation of the business strategy.
• Project Management:
• Lead infrastructure projects from planning to execution.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary.
  

Required Education, Knowledge, And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 10 years of experience leading large high performance technical delivery teams in an IT Managed Services environment.
• Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
• The role requires an individual that is highly collaborative with strong influencing skills, ambitious, creative, highly resourceful, self-driven and results oriented.
• Extensive experience in infrastructure strategy, public and private cloud, server, storage, and operations.
• Experience with building hybrid SD-WAN services, network transformation, network modernization services
• Understands CXO issues and solution alternatives and is comfortable interacting with them individually or as a part of a broader sales team.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience in implementing automation to drive operational efficiencies in network operations.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and managing Cloud, Network or endpoint services for large enterprises.
• Strong knowledge of network and server technologies, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.
• Proven experience with all levels of management, staff, clients, and vendors.
  
  

Preferred Education, Knowledge, And Experience

• Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP, PMP, TOGAF Enterprise Architect and Azure Solutions Architect Expert.

• Full-time position with occasional on-call responsibilities.
