Bell is seeking a Flight Operations Supervisor to join Bell's Flight Research Center. This position is based at Bell Arlington, TX. What you'll be doing as a Flight Operations Supervisor
.
- Provides daily work assignments for all Flight Operations Union covered employees
- Responsible for meeting daily customer and schedule commitments for the Flight Operations environment
- Supervise and monitor the Flight Operations environment to ensure a safe and hazard free workplace
- Meets all goals which support deliverables including Safety, Quality, Schedules and Costs associated with Flight Operations.
Qualifications
Skills You Bring To this Role
- Bachelor's degree preferred, will consider minimum of 5 years of directly related work experience or combination of education and experience.
- A&P License required.
- At least 1 year direct supervisory experience over hourly, non-exempt, employees strongly preferred.
- Successful applicant must have excellent oral and written communications skills, be goal-oriented, data driven, with strong sense of urgency.
- Proven success in leading team through a continuous improvement environment.
- Successful applicant should be creative, entrepreneurial, and an empowering team leader.
- Experimental Flight Operations experience preferred.
- Some travel is required (20%).
