Baker Job Description
The Baker is responsible for the production of yeast breads, doughs, pretzels, and other pastry items used throughout Bell Tower Brewing. The Baker will maintain production schedules, inventory, and bread/dough recipes.
Baker Responsibilities
The Baker organizes their work so that they meet the demands of the business. By maintaining a baking schedule, they will produce the needed bread items for the restaurant. They will need to be able to scale recipes by the baker's percentage method. The baker will communicate product needs with the purchaser. The baker is responsible for the cleanliness of their work area. The baker must be familiar with commercial baking equipment. The baker must be able to work independently.
Baker Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds several times a day
- Ability to plan work and production to meet the restaurants need
- Ability to do repetitive motions in the production of dough
- Understand yeast doughs and basic baking techniques
- Be able to collaborate and cooperate in a kitchen environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
