We have a reputation for providing quality care to seniors in Merrill and the surrounding communities for more than 30 years. Located in the the city of Merrill, we are a short 20-minute drive from Wausau.
We're seeking an experienced Dietary Assistant on the day shift who is a hard-working, dedicated and energetic individual interested in working with an energetic, compassionate Dietary Services team. This is a full-time position with hours from approximately 7:00 am until approximately 3:00pm including every other weekend and every other holiday.

Our Dietary Assistants serve meals to the wonderful residents who call Bell Tower Residence "home". They also clean and sanitize equipment and work spaces in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. They are a close team who rely on one another to ensure we provide the highest quality nutritional services possible.

Qualifications Required
- Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy
- Enjoy working with the senior population
- Must be English literate to complete all functions of the job
Qualifications Preferred
- Food service experience preferred, however on-the-job training provided.
Essential Functions of the Job
1. Operates, cleans and sanitizes food service equipment and work area.
3. Demonstrates knowledge of and follows the sanitation standards.
4. Ability to interact appropriately with residents, public and co-workers.
5. Prepares and serves food according to portion control guides and diet restrictions.
6. Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions.
7. Plans and schedules work day to meet meal deadlines.
8. Has basic knowledge of special diets and that they are served correctly.
9. Other duties: Completes all other duties as assigned.
