OVERVIEW

We are looking for a highly motivated account executive to drive sales in our wholesale distribution channel. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of achieving sales targets, relationship building and project management, with the ability to see the big picture and connect the dots to build the business.  Strategy and execution are key.

RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Set targets and implement strategies that will lead to increased sales
  • Manage portfolio of BELLA CANVAS’s existing wholesale Distributor partners
  • Drive relationships with Distributors, their sales/marketing teams, and key stakeholders
  • Negotiate and manage all aspects of Distributor partnership agreements
  • Demonstrate strong understanding of the product line, the brand story, and the competitive landscape
  • Create and execute Distributor sales and marketing engagement plans
  • Must be comfortable and confident presenting to large groups of people
  • Must be able to use analytics to identify sales trends and opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop thoughtful and effective sales tools/content
  • Manage Distributor product assortments
  • Mitigate returns, quality control issues, and accounting terms
  • Propose and integrate new systems and organizational processes to increase team efficiency
  • Work closely with Inventory Planning, Sales Analytics, and Distribution Inside Sales to support Distributor sales and shipments
  • Travel to see customers with Distributor sales reps, to attend industry tradeshows, trainings, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor of Arts Degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills preferred
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the year
  • Works out of Los Angeles HQ when not traveling
  • 5 years of related sales/account management experience
  • You have a proven track record of setting sales targets and achieving them.
  • You are a problem-solver who can adapt quickly to a fast-paced work environment.
  • You are extremely detail oriented with strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities at once.
  • You are highly motivated and take initiative.
  • You practice accountability over all responsibilities and clearly communicate progress and ideas to your manager.
  • You are strategic and innovative. You think outside the box and thrive in challenging environments where no two days are ever the same.
