We are seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team at Bella Cosa Jewelers. As a Fine Jewelry Sales Consultant, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of high-quality fine jewelry and engage with discerning clients to deliver exceptional customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for fine jewelry, thorough knowledge of gemstones, metals, and industry trends, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with clients and provide expert advice on jewelry or watch products.
Responsibilities include:
- Welcome and greet each customer with professionalism and courtesy
- Provide expert advice on jewelry or watch products
- Sell merchandise to consistently meet or exceed sales expectations
- Deliver outstanding customer service and a high-quality shopping experience
- Take in jewelry repairs as needed
- Document sales by creating or updating customer profile records
- Inform clients about special events and future merchandise of interest
- Understand and utilize store policies and procedures to handle customer transactions and resolve issues effectively
- Perform store setup and closing procedures according to store guidelines
Requirements include:
- Minimum 2 years of fine jewelry sales experience
- 4-year degree or AJP/GIA certification preferred
- Experience with the Edge POS system preferred
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Thorough knowledge of fine jewelry, watches, and prominent high-end bridal designers and brands
- Experience using microscope and loupe
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in all interactions
- Desire to develop professional experience through ongoing job-specific and industry training
- Able to work Saturdays and special events as scheduled
