Key Responsibilities:

Safely transport clients to and from medical appointments, shopping, and other destinations
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety
Assist clients with boarding and exiting vehicles as needed
Follow GPS and routing technology for efficient transport
Prioritize vehicle maintenance and safety

Qualifications:

Strong verbal communication skills
At least 21 years old
Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years
Must pass a drug screen, physical exam, and background check
Subject to DOT drug testing – Federal regulations prohibit the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring timely deliveries. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to safety regulations. Whether driving a box truck or handling warehouse duties, the Driver will play a crucial role in our operations.

Duties

• Operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks, to deliver goods to designated locations.
• Perform route driving while adhering to scheduled delivery times and maintaining accurate records of deliveries.
• Handle heavy lifting and moving of items as required during loading and unloading processes.
• Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory management and organization of goods.
• Utilize manual transmission vehicles when necessary, demonstrating proficiency in driving techniques.
• Operate forklifts safely for loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Ensure vehicle maintenance is performed regularly and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience as a delivery driver or courier preferred.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Experience with heavy lifting and moving items in a warehouse environment.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
