Job Summary

Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
- Monitor and document patients' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to medication schedules.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
- Assist with mobility and physical activities as needed, ensuring safety at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Skills
- Proficient in meal preparation, ensuring healthy options are available for clients.
- Experience in home health care settings is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with patient needs.
- Certification in CPR and first aid is highly desirable.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Strong observational skills for monitoring patient conditions and reporting changes accurately.
- Knowledge of home community care practices that promote independence among clients.
- Competence in medication administration and understanding of medication management protocols.
- Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
