Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide exceptional care to clients in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in hands on dementia care. This role is crucial for enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety.
- Monitor and document clients' health status and report any changes to the office.
- Remind to take medications as prescribed.
- Engage clients in social activities and companionship to promote mental well-being.
- Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean living environment.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare providers to ensure patient's overall well-being.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or dementia care.
- Ability to work independently while adhering to established care protocols.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams is extremely important.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not mandatory.
