Full-Time Nanny Needed – Concord (must like dogs- labrador retrievers)
A family in Concord is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and proactive nanny to care for their 6 month old baby when the mother returns to work in May. This is a full-time position with a minimum commitment of one year, with the potential to extend.
Position Details:
- Location: Concord CA
- Schedule: ideally Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (with some flexibility)
- Start Date: early May, but open to starting sooner or starting part time for the right candidate
- Commitment: Minimum one year, possibly longer
- Pay Rate: $27 – $35 per hour, depending on experience
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: At least 3 years of professional nanny experience, with a strong background in infant care
- Pet-Friendly: The family has 3 large labrador retrieveres. They are very sweet and trained but they will be in the house during the day. The family would like to find someone that doesn't mind putting food out for the dogs once a day in the afternoon and letting them out if needed. No other dog care is required.
- Proactive & Knowledgeable: Familiar with age-appropriate milestones and able to engage the baby in developmentally appropriate activities
- Must have current CPR and First Aid certification
- Must be willing to pass a background check or already have one
- Independent & Reliable: Able to take initiative; no deep cleaning required (they have a house cleaner) but would love someone that doesn't mind helping tidy up during down time
- Languages: Proficiency in English is required; Spanish-speaking is a plus
- Driver's License and safe vehicle with clean driving record required
Compensation & Benefits:
- $27 – $32 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for infant, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Engage child in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Possess general knowledge of infant milestones and how to creating positive sleep habits.
- Prepare and feed bottles and later prepare child's meals and snacks once they start solids.
- Maintain a clean and organized environment, including tidying up play areas and child's belongings.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and daily activities.
