Bella's Voice, a devoted non-profit thrift store with the mission of supporting animal welfare, is in an exciting phase of growth. As our community of supporters expands, so does our team, and we're eagerly searching for dedicated individuals to join us.

Your core responsibilities will revolve around ensuring our customers have a fantastic shopping experience. This may include cashiering, assisting shoppers, navigating incoming donations, running new items to the sales floor, organizing and bringing order to our store – each of these tasks directly helping our furry beneficiaries.

Your Work Environment:

We are seeking weekend help, Saturdays & Sundays, for up to 20 hours per week with the ability to claim additional hours (as available). You'll be working hands-on at our physical store as part of our Front End (sales floor) and/or Back Room (production) team, surrounded by a team as passionate as you. Every day is an opportunity to create an impact, and every customer interaction helps in bringing a change in an animal's life. Our store is open 7 days a week from 9 am - 7 pm, with our production team shift starting at 7:30 am.

Your Role Will Involve:

• General customer service
• Handling cashier duties with proficiency
• Collectables case & fitting room attendance
• Running new products to the sales floor
• Keeping the store shelves stocked, sorted, and aesthetically appealing
• Receiving and sorting incoming donations to quality standards
• Categorizing donations for processing
• Processing/pricing donations for the sales floor
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace for optimal production

What We're Looking for in You:

Your passion for the mission will be coupled with:

• A minimum age of 16 years
• Weekend availability
• Problem-solving? It's second nature to you!
• A knack for organizing, counting, adding, and interpreting data
• Sharp fine motor skills, enabling you to handle various items with ease
• Outstanding communication skills, especially when interacting with our lovely customers
• The physical ability to be on your feet for a full shift, and to lift up to 40 pounds, along with frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing.
• Teamwork is your middle name, and you thrive in fast-paced environments, always wearing a smile even under pressure.
