About the Role
* THIS IS A LIVE IN POSITION,
Bella Vida Home Health Care is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to provide support in our homes. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing and engaging personality that is passionate about providing quality care to others. The person should be compassionate, have great attention to detail and should be able to follow instructions and perform tasks to our standards with accuracy and speed.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist our clients in daily living activities
- Medication reminders
- Assist with bathing clients
- Guide clients through exercises to strengthen their back and legs
- Provide emotional support
- Plan meals and prepare snacks
- Fetching and cleaning up client's personal belongings
- Assist clients with shopping or shop with them if necessary
- Communicate any additional needs or side effects that client may have
- Administer medications (with safety precautions), assist with charting, reading prescriptions and ensure client gets proper treatment for any health issues
Experience is not a requirement for this position but it is preferred if you have it. We will train the right person.
