Overview: We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Marketing Director to join our spa team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that align with the spa's vision, promote growth, and enhance client engagement. This role requires an individual who is adept at managing multiple marketing channels, analyzing data, and leading influencer and PR outreach while maintaining brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, increase client acquisition, and retain existing clients.
- Social Media Management: Plan, create, and schedule engaging content for Instagram and other relevant platforms, posting at least three times per week.
- Email Marketing: Draft and send biweekly newsletters with updates, promotions, and spa news.
- PR and Outreach: Develop PR pitches, reach out to media outlets, and coordinate influencer collaborations to maximize the spa’s visibility. Conduct outreach to local influencers, particularly #orangecountymicroinfluencers, for potential partnerships.
- Content Creation: Ensure consistent and compelling content creation, including coordinating with staff for blogging initiatives.
- Analytics and Reporting: Review website traffic, social media metrics, and email campaign performance. Identify trends, create reports, and fill out analytics templates to present insights to upper management.
- Online Presence Maintenance: Regularly update all online platforms with current events, promotions, and relevant information.
- Security Protocols: Set up and maintain two-factor authentication for all marketing-related accounts to ensure data security.
- Weekly Blueprint Execution: Follow and complete tasks outlined in the spa’s weekly marketing blueprint to maintain consistency and quality in marketing efforts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with spa staff and external partners to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues related to marketing activities and maintain proactive communication with upper management when necessary.
- Influencer Relations: Identify and build relationships with influencers, coordinating collaborations and ensuring alignment with the brand’s values.
- Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal use of resources for the highest ROI.
- SEO and Blogging: Guide and motivate team members or contractors, such as Oana, to maintain a regular blogging schedule that enhances SEO and drives website traffic.
- Client Engagement: Foster community engagement through social media interactions, responding to messages, and building relationships with the spa’s client base.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (3 years) in marketing, preferably in the spa or beauty industry.
