Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles and the ability to implement effective curriculum tailored to the needs of preschool-aged children.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote literacy education.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing individualized support as needed.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support the overall development of each child.
- Organize classroom activities that promote social skills, emotional growth, and cognitive development.
- Collaborate with other educators in curriculum development and share best practices for teaching.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience with Montessori or daycare settings is highly desirable.
- Proficient in curriculum development tailored for preschool-aged children
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and staff.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate literacy education and other key subjects.
- Experience working with children in various capacities such as childcare or tutoring is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
