Bellamy & Watson Fields Assisted Living has openings for part time/per diem LPNs with an interest in memory and hospice care. We are looking for professional staff with an understanding and love for geriatrics.
Duties and Responsibilities for LPN:
- Maintains all records, policies, and standards necessary for surveys.
- Performs duties relating to residents, including but not limited to the following:
- Maintains complete and confidential clinical records on residents, including medications records
- Performs pre-admission assessment on prospective residents and reports findings to Administrator
- Monitors vital signs and screens general health and well-being of residents on a regular basis; discusses health needs with physicians and other health care professionals, as necessary
- Administers medications to residents and/or supervises the assistance of taking medications by residents
- Visits residents who have temporarily transferred to the hospitals, nursing homes, hospices, and other health care facilities in order to monitor their progress.
Qualifications Needed for LPN:
- Works under immediate supervision of the Administrator and/or RN Consultant.
- Is in possession of a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Provides evidence of the completion of both any state-mandated training or completes requirements as soon as possible after appointment.
