Bellarmine University invites applicants for a non-tenure track, term appointment position in the Healthcare Administration/Public Health Department. For this position, the Department specifically invites candidates who are committed to teaching and research excellence, have managerial and leadership experience in the health sector, and a desire to prepare the next generation of managers and leaders. In addition to industry experience, successful candidates will have earned a master's degree or doctorate in a field closely related to health services administration, including an MBA, MHSA, or MHA, or extensive experience in industry leadership and executive training.
Responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, student advising, assistance with student internships, a defined scholarship agenda, and commitment to university and professional service activities. Preference will be given to candidates prepared to teach courses related to one or more of the following areas: management of health care organizations, strategy, healthcare informatics, and job placement of graduates and undergraduates. There are also opportunities for curriculum refinement, modification, and development.

Minimum Requirements:
- Managerial or leadership experience in the healthcare industry;
- MBA, MHSA or MHA, or other advanced degree in healthcare related field;
- Evidence of excellence in teaching;
- Experience in facilitating equitable learning environments that include students with diverse social identities and backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Terminal degree (PhD, EdD, DNP, DBA, etc.) in business or healthcare-related fields
- Evidence of excellence in scholarly productivity
- Executive leadership experience in the healthcare industry.
