Responsibilities:
The Server is responsible for providing the highest quality of food & beverage service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner.
Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include a clean, pressed uniform and correct nametag when working.
Must, at all times, be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers, and other team members.
Accommodate any special requests that the kitchen is able to deliver for the guest.
Perform pre- and post-shift side work including stock service station, makes coffee, etc.
Serve menu items to guests in a prompt and courteous manner and according to established service standards.
Responds to community issues or concerns that may occur in the dining room. Reports issues/concerns to the Dining Services Director or designee immediately.
Assists in setting tables, removing dirty dishes, disposing of refuse and waste materials, and restocking inventory as needed
Washes and stacks dishes, pots, and pans as needed.
Collects and places garbage and trash in designated containers. Empties all trash and cleans trash cans
Sweeps and mops floor daily.
Experience in senior care / assisted living preferred.
