    • Now Hiring : Activity Aide

    Responsibilities of Activity Aide :

  • Planning and facilitating daily, weekly, and monthly events to encourage socialization, relaxation, and recreation.
  • Implementing activities that accommodate those with special needs.
  • Observing participants at events gauge their enjoyment and obtain their feedback to improve events.
  • Reaches, stoops, bends, lifts, carries, and manipulates various Activity supplies and equipment.
  • Assist with all other duties assigned by Administrator and Activities Director.

    • Qualifications of Activity Aide :

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Must be able to work every other weekend.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an exemption.
  • Motor coordination and manual dexterity are required to lead activity programing.
  • Experience with nursing, recreational activities, event planning, or related may be preferred.
  • Must be able to push residents in wheelchairs to and from activity areas.
  • Physical fitness, ability to walk, dance, stand, lift, or meet other physical demands.
