Consumer Lease Servicing Specialist I
LOCATION: Corporate DIVISION: CMXO
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:
As a Consumer Lease Servicing Specialist I, you will collaborate within our Consumer Servicing teams to process general lease servicing activities presented by internal/external members and third parties, ensuring completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and quality member service. You will maintain existing member relationships, provide excellent service and efficient operational activities, and respond to all phone and email inquiries. Your responsibilities will include handling lien status and release of perfected titles at the time of payoff or termination, providing payoff quotes and sales tax calculations (dependent on state), and supporting lease servicing activities or consumer lease servicing compliance issues. This position requires excellent customer service skills, an aptitude for shifting priorities based on business needs, and collaboration with team members, credit union staff, and members.

Reports to: Sr Manager of Consumer Operations

Contacts: All levels of credit union employees and members

1. Demonstrates Bellco’s Act Nice Behaviors and Core Values in all interactions with members, prospective members, and personnel in other Bellco departments while holding staff accountable to standards.
2. Review and support all activities associated with Consumer Lease Servicing. Includes day-to-day relationships, setting and accomplishing priorities, while maintaining a high level of productivity, and quality standards.
3. Research and resolve any consumer lease servicing compliance issues recognizing regulatory, and Agency requirements including but not limited to SCRA, Fair Credit Legislation, and CFPB.
4. Ensure accuracy and completion of activities associated with the processing of all consumer lease activities with urgency.
5. Tracking individual productivity and results to maintain and meet established team & department SLAs.
6. Responding to all member inquires and questions while providing excellent member service related to transactions via outbound, inbound calls and email.
7. Interact with governmental agencies and 3rd party representatives related to various lease servicing requests and general questions while creating solutions and determining when scenarios should be escalated
8. Report on vendor performance and service standards to management team as necessary.
9. Regular and punctual attendance with flexible schedule
Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of the position as business need dictates.

Experience:
- Minimum 2 years preferably in customer/member service role.
- Knowledge of MicroSoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of Consumer Lending originations or financial industry experience preferred
Skills:
- Ability to understand and execute tasks within Service Level Agreements (SLAs), required
- Ability to solve problems and analyze with a high degree of accuracy
- Effective time management with the ability to prioritize workload based on department requirements and member needs while working in a fast paced, deadline drive environment
- Ability to work independently and within the team while promoting a positive team environment
- Perform basic mathematical computations; Effectively communicate verbally and in writing, comprehend materials and follow instructions
- Exercise good judgement/reasoning and resourcefully solve routine problems; Organize and handle multiple tasks and prioritize; Handle confidential/sensitive information; Exhibit excellent customer service skills.
