RE Servicing Specialist II
LOCATION: Corporate DIVISION: SVP-CMXO
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:
RE Servicing Specialist II will perform all transactions related to onboarding new loans to the core system ie fixed rate seconds, including monetary transactions. Process subordination requests through Docu-sign and/or email. The RE Servicing Specialist II will ensure all investor servicing, accounting, and other servicing tasks are completed accurately and timely. Will perform document review, escrow updates, fixed and adjustable-rate payment schedules and all other relevant transactions. Will be considered a subject matter expert and perform functions including but not limited to check processing, loan maintenance, loan research/corrections, and transaction analysis., and any other job duties as assigned. The position will utilize knowledge of products, data, systems, processes, and web-based applications that provide information and address the Member service issue and ensure resolution.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to: Manager – RE Servicing
Supervises: NA
Contacts: Bellco & CUSO employees, and service providers.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience:
1. Demonstrates Bellco’s Act Nice Behaviors and Core Values in all interactions with members, prospective members, and personnel in other Bellco departments.
2. Onboard and validate exported data matches executed closing documents and update as required. Process and/or validate monetary transactions to match purchase advice. Reconcile General Ledgers to ensure monetary transactions are balanced. Activate automatic payments at borrower request.
3. Assist with obtaining insurance invoices and declaration pages.
4. Assist clearing exceptions notated on the Quality Control review. Assist with system upgrade testing.
5. Ensure documentation is uploaded to internal document archives and vendor sites as required.
6. Update and/or validate index changes to the servicing system.
7. Receive calls from internal departments and credit union partners to assist in response to member inquiries about Real Estate products and services while adhering to service level agreement.
8. Collaborate internally with other RE Servicing team to troubleshoot questions/issues and resolve member inquiries while adhering to response time and quality goals. Respond to general inquiries including, rate and payment changes, escrow inquiries, and payoff requests.
9. Prepare satisfactions per the member requests within SLA timeframe. Assist with preparation of Subordination agreements.
10. Respond to Member inquiries via telephone, cViews, and MOVE regarding Real Estate products (Mortgage and Home Equity Lines of Credit), while providing friendly, accurate, and professional service.
11. Conduct a detailed analysis of loan accounts to resolve member inquiries while educating internal departments on how to navigate internal core system.
12. Collaborate internally with other RE Servicing Specialists to troubleshoot questions/issues and resolve member inquiries while adhering to response time and quality goals.
13. Respond to general inquiries including, but not limited to, rate and payment changes, escrow inquiries, and payoff requests.
14. Assist with new Membership account opening for Correspondent partner borrowers/members.
15. Additional job-related projects and duties as assigned by management.
16. Regular and punctual attendance.
Management retains the discretion to add to or change the duties of the position as business need dictates.

- 3 years’ real estate servicing or loan originations experience, required.
- Knowledge of general mortgage servicing and reporting requirements
- Familiar with the following: Fannie Mae Guidelines
- Outstanding skills in Microsoft environment, including spreadsheet, database, word processing and presentation capabilities
- Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities in a dynamic environment, collaborative, team environment
- Ability to identify, interpret, and present data to management in a clear and concise manner
- Experience manipulating complex data using appropriate software tools to generate clear and straightforward reporting.
- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing; Comprehend materials and follow instructions; Compile, copy and compare information.
