HUMAN RESOURCES REPRESENTATIVE
LOCATION : Human Resources DIVISON : SVP-CHRO
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION :
Provides generalist support in human resources functions such as : recruiting, benefits administration, records management, employee relations, etc. Provides advice and guidance to employees on the interpretation of personnel policies for assigned functions. Reviews and analyzes the effectiveness of current programs; recommends improvements to the policies and procedures related to assigned human resource functions. Responsible for providing quality service to all internal and external clients.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS :
Reports to : HR Manager
Contacts : Frequent contact with Bellco managers and employees and the public.
QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Experience : 2-3 years human resources experience preferred.
Strong administrative experience required.
SKILLS : Very strong customer service orientation
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Strong analytical skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Superior PC skills, i.e. Windows, Excel, HRIS
Ability to tactfully question, answer or actively listen to applicants / employees to determine specific needs.
EQUIPMENT : General office equipment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Provides a valuable and enjoyable experience to both internal customers and members during interactions. Consistently suggests ways to improve the employee experience through improved processes and technology.
- Fully responsible for all aspects of recruitment and selection of well-qualified employees
- Completes background / reference check process and pre-employment testing with urgency and accuracy.
- Maintains employee records, ensuring completion and accuracy of details.
- Provides HRIS expertise. Maintain systems related to job functions.
- Generates monthly and special reports, disseminating the information with accuracy and ensuring confidentiality.
- Conducts HR segment of new employee orientation including :
New employee paperwork
Policy overview as it relates to assigned functions
Management retains discretion to add or change duties at any time.
WORKING CONDITIONS : Office Environment
May include occasional visits to branches
