Job Description:
Our Logistics team members are specialists whose primary goal is to accurately locate, and document orders and shipping documentation deliver them to shipping and receiving personnel after the “work in process” stage is completed. In addition, the position is responsible for all order movements in our shipping software. To do so, Logistics Specialist must follow current procedures and make information adjustments while communicating their progress with management. You will support the fragrance manufacturing process alongside Production Staff, Purchasing, sales, Customer Service with a comprehension & understanding of urgency, in a fast-paced office setting by accurately preparing documents & labels needed, to ship goods for Samples, Domestic & International shipping needs. Must have strong international shipping experience, exporting and importing of goods.
Job Responsibilities:
- Schedule all outbound shipments and communicate with couriers and brokers.
- Prepare shipping documents of hazardous and non-hazardous shipments, including proper labelling.
- Track shipments, follow-up on shipment delays/issues and communicate these issues to the logistics team, and customer service.
- Responsible for shipment of all samples, as well as domestic and international shipments.
- Process, investigate and assist the proper parties with the return goods process.
- Create weekly outbound report and report any variances.
- Follow all outbound Shipment standard operating procedures.
- Ensure all dealings with inside and outside customers/vendors are conducted in compliance with our Code of Ethics.
- Prepare, file and close out all daily shipments.
- Send shipment tracking information to customers, vendors, suppliers.
- Use our TMS, ERP and CRM systems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 years relevant experience in the Logistics Field, ei Trucking Customer Service, Logistics Dept within a Manufacturing atmosphere, Freight Forwarding Customer Service
- Excellent oral and written proficiency in the English language.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Great attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Deadline oriented. Strong time management skills.
- IT skills - Proficiency in using common PC applications.
- Excellent ability to work well independently as well as a part of the team.
- Basic math proficiency.

- Apply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
