Red Team Analyst – China Portfolio
Location: Norfolk, VA (Onsite)
Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance
Period of Performance: 5 years (Base year, plus 4 option years)
Summary
Belle Lynn Sourcing LLC is currently a sharp, analytical thinker with deep regional expertise to serve as a Red Team Analyst focused on China. This role is critical in supporting NATO's long-term strategic foresight and understanding of the evolving geopolitical landscape. You’ll bring a fresh, independent perspective to challenge assumptions, evaluate future risks, and inform strategic planning.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze current and future Chinese strategic posture, intentions, and actions from an adversarial perspective
- Develop and deliver high-impact briefings, reports, and policy papers
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis in political, military, technological, and informational domains
- Support wargames, tabletop exercises, and scenario planning
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of analysts and SMEs across the NATO enterprise
- Present alternative viewpoints to enrich strategic dialogue and decision-making
What We’re Looking For
- Active NATO Secret Clearance (or Equivalent Secret or Higher)
- Master’s Degree, required
- PMP or equivalent, required
- Fluency in English and Mandarin strongly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in Chinese foreign policy, military strategy, and political-economic behavior
- Experience in red teaming, strategic foresight, or scenario development (military, academic, or policy backgrounds welcome)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in briefing senior leaders
- Familiarity with NATO structures and/or multilateral defense environments preferred
