Job Responsibilities:
- Assist residents or patients with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and feeding.
- Take and record vital signs, height, weight, and other measurements as instructed.
- Help residents with mobility and transfers, using appropriate lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff members.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Medical care (such as administering medicine) is NOT required or performed.
Requirements:
- Valid CNA or CHHA certification in good standing.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered attitude towards caregiving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting.
- Additional training or certifications related to caregiving.
