Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and demonstrate expertise in facilities maintenance. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with our Lead Maintenance Technician to maintain equipment and systems, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout the facility.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing schematics when necessary.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues.
- Fabricate and weld components as needed for repairs or modifications.
- Supervise maintenance staff during projects or repairs, providing guidance and support.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
- Implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various types of equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience in facilities maintenance, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
