Duties and Responsibilities
- Real Estate Agent responsibilities include marketing listings and providing guidance to buyers and sellers.
- Build and maintain a good relationship with lenders, appraisers, home inspectors and escrow companies
- Providing guidance and assisting sellers and buyers in marketing and purchasing property for the right price and under the best terms
- Determining clients’ needs and financials abilities to propose solutions that suit them
- Performing comparative market analysis to estimate properties’ value
- Prepare necessary paperwork such as listing agreements, purchase agreements and leases
- Compile lists of real estate properties with details regarding their location, square footage and features
- Promote sale of properties through open houses, engagement in multiple listing services and advertisements
- Establish a network of mortgage lenders, contractors and legal attorneys to whom you can refer clients
- Inspect condition of premises and organize for necessary maintenance or inform property owners of maintenance needs
- Evaluate clients' financial abilities and research properties within their buying power

Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent negotiation skills with clients and other realtors to arrive at agreeable sales terms
- Superior verbal and written communication skills to be able to prepare documents and speak with client, financial professionals and other Realtors
- Strong time management and organizational skills to keep track of appointments and commitments with buyers and sellers
- Outstanding promotional and marketing skills to attract buyers and establish their client base through referrals, advertising and outreach
- Knowledge of the local real estate market concerning average property prices, neighborhoods within sales territory and current trends
- Great client service skills and ability to understand the needs of clients in terms of what they are looking for and what is practical within their price range
- Excellent interpersonal skills a plus
- Ability to multitask, manage time and prioritize activities
- Great organization skills to be able to create various scheduled, timelines and budgets
- Ability to work independently when making important decisions
- Great honesty and integrity skills
- Outstanding computer skills for preparing presentations and drafting property sale documentations
- Excellent presentation skills
- Sales experience a plus but not required
Education and Training
- At least a high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Must have current real estate license or preparing to sit for examination
- Member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and NOMAR
Full-time agents preferred. Part-time agents (with full-time drive) accepted.
Agents are independent contractors with flexible schedules and no required floor time. No Monthly or Desk Fees. Onboarding includes a professional headshot, professionalisms email signature, and 250 business cards.
