What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Intern position at Belle Tire?

The Marketing Intern works directly with all functions of the Marketing department to support the team and become an expert in the field.
What You’ll Do
- Learn about our business by attending meetings, huddles and trainings
- Gain exposure to the day to day functions and strategy of the Marketing department including digital, website, media, advertising, e-mail marketing, social media, consumer data and analytics, public relations and general marketing support
- Build relationships, make connections and network with professionals and your peers
- Share creative ideas that will help improve our business
- Assist in creating reports, analyze metrics and summarize information
- Assist in creating materials and/or presentations
- Send out communications, respond to phone calls/e-mails and overall provide support to Belle Tire retail locations
- Complete a marketing related project and present final product to senior leadership
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing or related field
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Work Environment
This position is based within a tire and automotive service retail store. Varying work hours, Monday through Saturday, with possible overtime. Fast-paced workshop setting with physical demands, including extended standing and heavy lifting.
Compensation
$20/hr.
