Job Summary:
The Automotive Technician is committed to delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced workshop environment. You must be state certified, knowledgeable, and experienced in areas covered by the ASE certification programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Vehicle Repairs: Engine Repair, Drive Train/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, and Engine Performance.
- Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Ensure a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
Requirements:
- State of Michigan Mechanic Certification: Required for Michigan residents only.
- Age: 18 years or older.
- Valid Driver's License: Necessary for this position.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of automotive repair experience, with a focus on under-car repairs, braking systems, and alignments.
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or vocational certificate preferred.
- Lifting Ability: Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Work Schedule: Varying hours, Monday through Saturday, with heavy physical requirements and long periods of standing.
