Job Description
The Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide behavior intervention services based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The RBT will implement Behavior Intervention Plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and collect, record, and graph daily behavioral data. The RBT will also participate in supervision meetings with Behavior Analysts and engage in ongoing collaboration with the Behavior Department.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a related field, such as Psychology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or Special Education. The candidate must also hold a Registered Behavior Technician certification from the Behavior Analysis Certification Board and have at least one year of experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Additionally, the candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
