About the Role
As a Behavior Department Supervisor at Monarch Center for Autism, you will play a vital part in our dedicated team of professionals. Our classroom teams are intentionally small, allowing students to receive one-on-one and small group instruction within the confines of our visual language immersion teaching Model.
The Model combines concept-driven language instruction with visual supports, technology, and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). We seek a qualified BCBA Supervisor to lead our team in training and supervising Trainees or certified staff members, while also managing a caseload of students and developing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision to the Behavior Department and staff, including observation of Trainees and conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) as needed
- Manage a caseload of students, develop, monitor, and manage individualized Behavior Intervention Plans
- Evaluate and provide performance feedback to Trainees and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)
- Plan and facilitate group supervision meetings twice a month
- Ensure BACB supervision requirements are met and logged accordingly
- Conduct Functional Analyses (FA), as needed, for the assigned caseload of Monarch students
- Develop and maintain behavioral data, create graphical data representations, and reports for progress-monitoring of students on caseload monthly and quarterly
- Assist staff in defining behavior, understanding principles of reinforcement, teaching and strengthening new behavior, implementing strategies for weakening behavior, and identifying antecedents and consequences to behavior
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, or Psychology
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with supervision requirements met
- Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst (COBA)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- A minimum of 1 year of experience supervising Trainees
- Experience planning and providing group supervision
- Experience conducting FBA, FA, and writing Behavior Intervention Plans
