Job Summary
As a Registered Behavior Technician at Bellefaire JCB, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disorders. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans and ensure the delivery of evidence-based interventions.
Responsibilities
- Provide behavior intervention services based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Collect, record, and graph daily behavioral data
- Participate in supervision meetings with Behavior Analysts and engage in ongoing collaboration with the Behavior Department
- Serve as the classroom liaison to the Behavior Department and provide training for other staff on behavior analytic principles
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a related field (Psychology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or Special Education)
- Registered Behavior Technician certification from the Behavior Analysis Certification Board
- At least one year of experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
