Custodian - 2nd Shift - Middle School

Bellefonte Area School District is accepting applications for the 2nd Shift position of Middle School Custodian.

This position provides and maintains a safe, secure, clean and healthy environment for the students, staff, and community.  In addition, the custodian keeps the district’s administration buildings in such a state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program and everyday work flow.

Qualifications:

Minimum: High School Diploma/GED is required.

Experience: 

One year of work related experience is required.

Other skills:

Ability to operate and use various custodial, maintenance and ground care equipment and products. 

Ability to read basic operating instructions and safety labels.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide large numbers, fractions, and decimals.  

Effective communication skills.

Work Day:                            3:00pm to 11:30om (1/2 hr unpaid lunch)         

Work Year:                           260 days

Level:                                    D – Minimum Pay Rate shift differential
