- Coordinate and schedule transportation for residents based on medical, social, and personal needs.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, drivers, and facility staff to ensure timely transportation.
- Monitor and track scheduled rides to ensure punctuality and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation schedules, vehicle maintenance logs, and resident transportation requests.
- Address any transportation-related concerns or issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal transportation regulations and facility policies.
- Assist residents with mobility needs, including wheelchair transport, when necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in transportation coordination, scheduling, or logistics preferred.
- Familiarity with long-term care or healthcare settings is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using scheduling software and basic computer applications.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if required to operate facility vehicles).
- CPR Certification.
