About us:
Belleville Boot Company, based in Metro East area, is a privately held footwear manufacturer specializing in the development of innovative, high-performance military footwear for the United States Department of Defense and other governmental and commercial entities. Operating a total of three footwear factories (including two in Arkansas), the Illinois factory also houses the distribution center as well as Marketing, Sales, and all other administrative functions.
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Belleville Boot Company has an opportunity for a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for the maintenance of various industrial equipment including preventive maintenance, unexpected repairs and some general building maintenance.
Position Requirements:
- Industrial mechanical & electrical experience
- Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic components
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- Knowledge of PLC’s and DC Drives
- Welding steel and aluminum a plus
- Polyurethane injection molding experience a plus
- A minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience or a combination of experience and education
- Prior experience working on industrial sewing machines is a plus
Candidate must be flexible to work beyond normal shift with short notice and may be required to change shift periodically.
This is a 3rd shift position.
Hourly rate will commensurate with experience.
