Key Responsibilities
- To enhance the clinical care and quality of life of our residents, ensuring that all resident rights are protected.
- To prepare and administer medications as ordered by the physician, maintaining accurate records and monitoring resident responses.
- To conduct daily checks on residents to evaluate their physical and emotional status, reporting any concerns to the RN Supervisor or Director of Nursing.
- To implement recommended changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses, adhering to facility policies and procedures.
- To perform professional services such as catheterization, tube feeding, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs, colostomy and drainage bags, taking blood, sputum, and urine specimens, etc.
Requirements
- Certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- A caring and loving personality and demeanor.
- Leadership and mentorship skills.
- The ability to work scheduled shifts and maintain accurate records.
- The ability to read, write, and speak English.
