Bellevue Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team! Our assistants play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care during appointments by coordinating and executing treatment plans and providing thorough client education.
In this role, you will primarily assist during exams and outpatient care, maintain detailed medical records, review treatment plans, assist technicians with pre- and post-surgical care and address clients' questions. Additionally, you will coordinate with your team to manage the veterinarians orders, ensuring the highest level of patient care and maintaining an efficient workflow to keep exams running on schedule. This position is ideal for those who excel in client engagement and schedule management.
This is a full-time position, with a flexible schedule and availability needed generally M-F with rotating weekends.

- Compensation: $20-23/hour, based on experience and skillset

Minimum qualifications and skillset:
- 2 years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency in the following skills:
- Patient restraint
- Surgical prep and assisting
- Client communication
- Injections and venipuncture
