Job Summary
The Health and Wellness Director is responsible for overseeing the health and wellness programs within our organization, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards while promoting a culture of wellness among residents and staff. Duties
- Develop, implement, and manage health and wellness programs that align with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of medical records.
- Supervise nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with staff and residents.
- Oversee case management processes to facilitate appropriate care for residents.
- Manage budgets related to health services, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their needs are met within the healthcare framework.
- Lead training sessions for staff on best practices in acute care and wellness initiatives.
- Monitor health outcomes and adjust programs as necessary to improve resident well-being.
Experience
- Proven experience in a healthcare leadership role, preferably as a nurse or similar position.
