Summer English Tutor

Job Description

This job opening is for Summer English tutors that are able to teach English and SAT prep. During the summer, we are open Monday through Friday 9:30 am - 5:30 pm. There is also the option to work for the school year, during which we are open Monday through Friday after school from 2:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Scheduling is flexible. You can choose how many hours you prefer to work and which days and times are best for you. We hire outstanding, knowledgeable, passionate English tutors who desire to make a difference in the lives of their students and who are eager to pass on their love of learning.

Job Details:

• Teach English in small group setting of 6-8 students.
• Classes will be middle school English and SAT English.
• Training and general structure for classes will be provided.
• Individual tutoring is also an option if interested in additional hours.
• Work will begin from late June.
• Starting Pay is $24 per hour, though it can be adjusted based on the candidate's experience and education.

Education and Experience

• Master's degree preferred
• Classroom teaching experience is preferred
• You will be tested within your subject area during the interview. We will only hire candidates who can demonstrate considerable ability in their subject areas.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
