The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the efficient, organized operations of the warehouse in service to the other departments at Bellevue Lighting. To that end, the Warehouse Manager's key responsibilities include overseeing warehouse organization, cleanliness, inventory controls and movement, equipment maintenance, shipping/receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, and safety.

This hands-on leadership role requires direct oversight of equipment repair, testing, and cleaning, as well as coordinating logistics and crew schedules. The Warehouse Manager ensures that both people and equipment are scheduled, moving, and operational on time to support the Events, Rentals, Systems, Retail, Drape, and other teams. This position reports to the Client Services Manager.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory & Asset Management

Track equipment movement and availability using RMS.

Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment of essential gear and consumables.

Ensure proper storage, labeling, and security of all assets to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

2. Equipment Maintenance & Readiness

Ensure all equipment, tools, and hardware are in production-ready condition at all times.

Assign and oversee repair, testing, and cleaning tasks for equipment.

Maintain a well-organized warehouse for easy accessibility and efficiency.

3. Shipping & Receiving

Oversee all inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.

Work with vendors and freight companies to manage deliveries and returns.

Maintain proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for all outgoing shipments.

4. Warehouse Operations & Crew Management

Lead and assign tasks to part-time warehouse crew, ensuring operational efficiency.

Develop and maintain crew schedules and day sheets based on event and rental needs.

Train crew members in equipment handling, repair, and safety protocols.

5. Logistics & Transportation

Oversee equipment movement for all departments, ensuring timely delivery and return.

Manage subrentals, tracking inbound and outbound rented gear to ensure timely returns.

Coordinate trucking and transportation logistics, working with vendors and in-house drivers.

Ensure deliveries and pickups align with event and rental schedules.

6. Safety & Compliance

Enforce OSHA safety standards and warehouse best practices.

Conduct regular safety inspections on equipment and vehicles.

Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant warehouse environment.

Qualifications & Skills

3 years of warehouse management experience, preferably in events, production, or theatrical industries.

Strong knowledge of logistics, trucking coordination, and subrental tracking.

Experience with inventory systems (RMS), equipment maintenance, and asset management.

Proven ability to lead and train part-time crews in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and warehouse best practices.

Strong problem-solving, organization, and multitasking skills.

Proficiency in warehouse management software (Current RMS), ADP, Google Workspace, and logistics tools (UPS).
