Certification Details BLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support NIH Stroke Certification State License 1 Verification NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN / LVN, AP) Job Details 36 or 48hr option and 13 or 26 week contract option BMC Medical Surgical / Telemetry 4th Floor – This unit is located at Bellevue Medical Center (16 mins away from Nebraska Medical Center’s main campus). This unit is a 36 bed medical surgical / telemetry unit. The unit has a focus on the care of the medical surgical / telemetry population with an emphasis on the orthopedic patient population. Additional surgical specialties include : surgical oncology, general surgery, GYN surgery, and OMFS. The unit does accommodate telemetry monitoring. Ratios are 1 : 5 days / 1 : 6 nights. Depending on staffing, night ratios can be 1 : 7 (this is rare, but facility wants travelers to be aware). Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN 2 years of prior Telemetry experience required (must have 2 years exp in large, urban hospital) Drips are required on all floors First timers NOT accepted (will consider if the traveler has 2 years of experience at a Level l Academic Medical Center) Will float within scope to meet facility needs (this includes potentially floating to Bellevue campus) 100% NICOTINE FREE FACILITY Job Requirements 2 years of prior Telemetry experience required (must have 2 years exp in large, urban hospital) BLS required ACLS preferred EPIC charting experience required Pending license accepted : Yes, but if license is not IN HAND at the time of submission then traveler will be booked six weeks out. RTO restrictions : Up to two weeks of RTO permitted. RTO must be submitted with application. Additional requests after confirmation at manager discretion. Weekend Requirement : Two weekends in a four-week schedule period (Saturday / Sunday for day shift, Friday / Saturday for night shift).
