Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Professional Learning
Job Summary:
The Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Professional Learning is an exemplary leader who is knowledgeable of best practices related to teaching and learning. The Director must be focused on student learning; understand the change process; able to promote and sustain quality curriculum and programs centered on student achievement and teacher development; a team player able to develop collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders; able to motivate, delegate, build consensus and positively influence the professional growth of others.
The Director, under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, is responsible for providing leadership by coordinating, supporting and facilitating efforts across the district to increase student achievement by developing, implementing, and monitoring PK – 12 curriculum; by collaborating with other administrators and staff; by providing professional learning opportunities which help staff accomplish their goals aligned with district curriculum, instruction and assessment; and by assisting all departments in aligning curriculum endeavors to state standards in support of school improvement and district improvement goals.

Qualifications:
- Masters degree required
- Must qualify for, or hold, a Nebraska Department of Education Administrative Certificate.
- Demonstrated successful leadership experience in school administration.
- Demonstrated successful experience in facilitating the development and implementation of PK – 12 curriculum and classroom assessments.
- Position to begin July 2025.
