What are the responsibilities and job description for the Instructional Paraprofessional - Early Childhood Center (WC) position at Bellevue, NE?
Applications are being accepted for a 10 month, 7 hour per day Instructional Paraprofessional at The Early Childhood Center in the Welcome Center. The general education instructional paraprofessional works under the direction and supervision of a teacher or other designated member of the school staff. The instructional paraprofessional helps students acquire skills and competencies taught by the classroom teacher. The applicant must be able to lift and give physical assistance when necessary, and assist with recreational activities. Required qualifications are that the applicant not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of himself / herself or others with or without reasonable accommodations, and must be capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position assigned and for the duration of the assignment. This position is subject to a veterans preference. Duty hours are typically Monday through Friday 8 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 00 p.m.
