What are the responsibilities and job description for the JV Cheer Coach 2025-2026 (BW) position at Bellevue Public Schools?
Bellevue West High School is accepting applications for a JV Cheer Coach.
The JV Cheer Coach works under the direct supervision of the Head Cheer Coach. Duties shall include, but are not limited to, game management, cheerleader development, working with youth, practice planning, and other duties as assigned by the head coach.
Cheer coaching and/or experience at the high school or college level is preferred. The JV Cheer Coach must be able to fulfill the time requirements for the position during the summer, fall, and winter seasons.
All extracurricular positions promote the philosophy and goals of the district while assisting with the development of the particular program. The position requires supervision of participants and the ability to communicate expectations to both participants and parents. Furthermore, serving as a liaison between participating parents, patrons, staff, and administration as needed as well as helping with the management of the operation by carrying out rules and regulations are essential. This position is subject to a veterans preference.
