What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technology Specialist position at Bellevue Public Schools?
Applications are being accepted for an 8 hour per day Technology Specialist. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates must have extensive knowledge of MAC and Windows operating systems as well as basic network and server knowledge. The candidate must be able to troubleshoot iPads, basic software and audio visual equipment. Furthermore, the candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of Google Apps for Education. Apple or iPad repair certification is preferred. Required qualifications are that the applicant not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself or others with or without reasonable accommodations, and must be capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position assigned and for the duration of the assignment. This position is subject to a veterans preference. Duty hours are typically Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
